About Us

Our old fashion values come through in preparing our food and ice cream – hand crafting every item on the menu and always using local, simple products when doing so. You’ll taste the difference!

Just a 15-minute drive from downtown Omaha, you’ll find us near Lake Manawa at the corner of S 11th Street and Veterans Memorial Highway. We offer a dining area with additional patio seating, a drive-thru window to place and pick up orders, and plenty to eat – so come hungry and ready to spend a “doozie” of a day in our beautiful lakeside community!

Doozie's Famous Ice Cream

We offer 16 different homemade ice cream flavors that get rotated on a daily basis. We only use the highest quality of 14% butterfat and other ingredients when making our ice cream which makes our creamy, delicious ice cream stand out from any other.

Mouth-Watering Burgers

We only use fresh, locally sourced, choice meat that’s ground daily and hand-pressed into 5 oz. patties, available as a single, double, or triple burger. Accompanied with fresh vegetables and our homemade Doozie Sauce, our juicy burgers are sure to have you coming back

Ordered a couple of kids meals and hamburgers. Hamburgers were decently cooked and above average size.  Fries were crispy and generous. With ice cream that good I would not have expected much out of the food, but it is all incredible! Doozies is absolutely the best place to go for a burger, fries and ice cream in Council Bluffs.
